When Bob the dog was accidentally run over by taxi driver Frazer Yeats, who was rushing to be with is pregnant wife Rosie, vet Steve Parker and his daughter Bridget were first on the scene. Steve took Bob to his surgery, where he and veterinary nurse Alex Hanson operated. Despite some serious injuries, and internal bleeding, Bob pulled through the operation and was allowed to go home after a few days, with the incident also forcing Bob’s owner Toadie Rebecchi to talk to his ex-fiancee Steph Scully – who was supposed to be looking after the dog at the time – only days after their disastrous wedding.
