With Robbo Slade threatening to put a video of himself having sex with Amber Turner online, her brother Mason was determined to stop it, and was being forced by Robbo to pay $10,000. Mason was struggling to raise even a small amount of cash, but in his new job as the trainee concierge at Lassiter's hotel, guest Liz Harrison came to him and asked if he would store an expensive diamond bracelet. As she filled in the forms, Mason looked at the bracelet was sorely tempted to steal it, and solve all of his problems at once. Ultimately though, he decided that he had to move on from this criminal past, and he sold his watch instead.
