An important client of Lassiter's hotel, Robert Hayes arrived for his stay, just as manager Terese Willis was called away on an urgent personal matter. With only new chambermaid Rhiannon Bates available to assist, Terese asked her to accompany Mr Hayes to his room. There, Mr Hayes was quick to complain about his stained bedsheets, and Rhiannon jokingly told him just to sleep on the other side of the bed. Mr Hayes then went to the bar, and Rhiannon decided to get her own back by short sheeting his bed, leading him to check out of the hotel, and leading Rhiannon to a serious reprimand from hotel owner Paul Robinson.

• Robert's surname was given as both Hayes and Haynes, but Hayes was the version used in the closing credits
