Whilst playing hide and seek, young Mickey Gannon became trapped in a chest that had been left out for the hard rubbish collection, which was then taken away to the dump. Luckily, Mickey’s pop, Lou Carpenter, had spotted the lad playing by the chest earlier that day, and everyone quickly realised what had happened and, with the help of neighbour and councillor Steph Scully, they got permission to go and search, though nobody had informed security guard Colin Hopkins, who angrily told the various Ramsay Street residents to leave, as they descended on the depot, before realising that they had permission to be there.
