When Bree Timmins was exposed as the real author of her mum, Janelle’s best-selling novel, The Bogan’s Tipped Hair, sales went through the roof and the media became interested. During one television interview, outside her home in Ramsay Street, Bree was asked about her discipline by journalist Maxine Hunter, and Bree explained that most kids are underestimated, but almost anyone has the ability to write a novel, and she explained that she got a lot of her inspiration from the romance novels that she read.
