When Toadie Rebecchi's new executive assistant Naomi Canning started plotting to keep his wife Sonya away from a lucrative deal with Chileans Guillermo and Mariana Ibáñez, the plan seemed to work, as Naomi lied that the Chileans had requested a change of time, knowing that Sonya would be otherwise engaged at the time. With only Toadie and Naomi present, the meeting started off well, though Guillermo and Mariana soon started having a tense conversation in Spanish, worrying Toadie who felt that they were about to miss out on the deal. When they asked to meet Sonya, Toadie was about to make plans for her to meet up with them, as she was now free to do so, but Naomi quickly warned him off, pointing out that Sonya's plans to question the Chileans about their environmental policies might put them off. Toadie finally gave in, and the four of them moved the meeting to his law offices, where, after learning that Guillermo and Mariana had simply been arguing about his poor diet, the contracts were signed.
