When Luka Dokich found out that his real father, Ivan Petrovic, had last been seen in a small town a couple of hours outside Melbourne, he and his mother, Liljana Bishop, went there to track him down. As they stopped for petrol shortly after arriving in the town, they asked the attendant, Graham, if he’d heard of Ivan. It was left to Graham to break the news to them that Ivan had died a few years ago, before pointing them in the direction of the local cemetery.
