Whilst in Germany, where her mother Rhonda was receiving cancer treatment, Georgia Brooks met Greg Keys, and although there was an attraction between them, she didn't act on it, as she had a husband, Kyle, back in Australia. With Rhonda in remission, she, Georgia and Greg returned to Australia, and whilst Georgia was taking her mum home to Birregurra, Greg headed to Ramsay Street, wrongly believing that Georgia had gone to tell Kyle that their marriage was over. As he spoke to Kyle, Greg realised his mistake, but told him that he and Georgia had feelings for each other, leaving Kyle completely perplexed and unsure whether his visitor was genuine. When Georgia then came to see Kyle the next day, she explained that nothing had happened with Greg, but it had confirmed her suspicions that she wasn't quite ready for marriage, and she needed to spend some time on her own to figure out her feelings.
