After competing in, and winning, her high school, regional and state competitions, Bree Timmins found herself in Canberra to compete in the finals of the National Spelling Bee. Bree faced announcer Greg Little as she slowly saw off the competition. In the end, her victory in the contest came down to spelling the word ‘triskaidekaphobia’ and Bree went away $15,000 richer.
