As Oliver Barnes babysat his daughter, Chloe, he was visited by Mia Silvani, with whom he’d been having an on-off romance. The pair tried to discuss their issues, with Mia believing that Oliver was only interested in her to annoy her brother, Marco, who was in a relationship with Chloe’s mum, Carmella Cammeniti. As the pair talked outside Lassiter’s hotel reception, hotel guest Claire Macrossin came over, cooing over what a cute baby Chloe was and saying that they must be very proud. As Oliver told Claire that he and Mia were just friends, and Mia wasn’t Chloe’s mum, Mia grew annoyed, pointing out to him that he had just stood in front of her and flirted with that woman, and she couldn’t stand his shallow behaviour any more.
