As the prosecuting solicitor in the case against jewel thief Kev Kelly, James McFee had a key witness in the form of Kelly’s former prisonmate Larry ‘Woody’ Woodhouse, who had been sent to collect some of the stolen precious stones whilst he was out on day release. Woody was convinced by girlfriend Steph Scully to give himself up and give evidence against Kev Kelly, which resulted in him being put into witness protection for his own safety.
