After being employed as a general dogsbody by Paul Robinson at his new motel, one of Cameron McPhee's first tasks was to find some flowers for the motel rooms, with Paul telling him to try and do it without spending any money. Cameron then took a load of flowers from Sonya Rebecchi's nursery, leaving the place in a mess. As Sonya had just become Erinsborough's Mayor, and had annoyed an environmental group by agreeing to some trees being chopped down for a new drainage system, it was believed that the sabotaged flowers were an act of revenge. However, when Sonya's friend Mark then caught Cameron taking more flowers from the grounds of Lassiter's hotel, he found out the full story, and Cameron and Paul were taken to the police station for questioning. Following his brush with the police, Cameron joined a group run by teacher Brad Willis, which used sport and team-building exercises to keep problem kids on the straight and narrow.

Trivia Notes
• In episode 7353, it is mentioned that Cameron has created a video tribute to Brad, to be shown at his presentation of the Erinsborough Citizen of the Year Award
