With their wedding only weeks away, and after a great deal of flat-hunting, Paul Robinson and Terry Inglis were delighted to find a unit that was suitable, and in their price range if they got a loan. They excitedly went to meet with their solicitor, Mr Manning, to finalise things, but were shocked to be told that the chain had broken down, and that the person selling the unit had taken it off the market, as he was unable to raise the money to move. Though Terry tried to remain calm, Paul was furious that their plans had fallen apart at the last minute, and was aware that they were going to struggle to find anywhere else to live at such short notice.
