After deciding to work part-time at her Coffee Shop shortly after the birth of her baby boy, Jamie, Daphne Clarke was alarmed to receive a visit from health inspector Mr O’Reilly. He explained that he wasn’t there to inspect the premises, but rather the situation with Daphne and Jamie, since he’d received a complaint. After going through a series of questions with Daphne, Mr O’Reilly was satisfied that the situation was within health and safety regulations, but Daphne was still upset that anyone would report her like that, and quickly realised that it must have been Harold Bishop, who had been running the shop and had voiced his concerns at Daphne bringing a baby onto the premises.
