After spending weeks in Erinsborough, secretly looking for her missing sister, Krista, Reece Sinclair was starting to piece together the puzzle of her disappearance. Having found a car that Krista had been driving during her time in town, Reece and her boyfriend Byron - the only other person she’d told about the search - found out that the car had previously been registered to a man named John Walton in Robinvale. They decided to make the drive out there, but on the way, Byron made some calls and found out that John was overseas. They decided to press on, and, because a lot of backpackers were known to pass through Robinvale, Byron suggested that they ask in the local hostels. Though Reece was unsure that her sister would ever have stayed in a hostel, she agreed to the plan and at one hostel, they spoke to Ted Munce, asking if he’d heard of a Krista Sinclair, or Kelly Miller - which was the fake name she’d been using. Ted found record of a Kelly Miller staying there around a year earlier, telling Reece and Byron that she’d paid for three people, using cash, but he had nothing else he could tell them, though he said that they were welcome to ask around the place.
