When Sheila Canning, the new manager of Charlie's bar, hired a new barman, Pete Clark, it quickly became clear that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing, and he'd only been hired for his looks, and to attract some new female customers. One of the bar's customers, Simon Patel, was slightly confused as he stood and waited for Pete to slice some lemons, very slowly, and then ended up getting lemon juice squirted in his eye.
