In the months leading up their marriage, Libby Kennedy and Drew Kirk struggled to agree on almost every aspect of their future, from where they would live to what school their children would go to. In an attempt to resolve their problems before the wedding, they visited pre-nuptial counsellor Robin Paul. However, after only a few sessions, they decided that sharing their problems with someone else really wasn’t making that much of a difference. However, when they struggled to deal with the problem of breaking an antique vase, sent as a wedding gift by Drew’s Aunt Minnie, they went back to Robin for advice. Robin was surprised that, with so many other issues going on, they chose such a trivial thing to talk to her about. As Libby and Drew finally managed to laugh about the situation, Robin told them that they both needed to learn to compromise and maybe neither of them was quite ready for a commitment as big as marriage.
