Whilst waiting for an appointment at A Good Hair Day salon one day, Susan Kennedy overheard a young woman telling her stylist, Abi Porter, about her new job and her new boss. Susan was amused until she realised that the attractive young girl was Serena Lucas, the new surgery receptionist working with her husband, Karl. Abi was also unimpressed when Flick Scully, daughter of salon manager, Lyn, was given a part-time job there, only to prove to be the most lazy and inept member of staff they’d ever had.
