Yvette Ramsay 2025
Marital Status: Shane Ramsay (Divorced)
Children: Max and Saskia

Following her divorce from Shane, and their son Max's move to Erinsborough, Yvette Ramsay became concerned about her 17-year-old daughter, Saskia, who was being bullied at school. After a move to a private school didn't change anything, Yvette decided to try a drastic change, moving Saskia to live with her brother and enrolling her at Erinsborough High. Max was surprised when his mum and sister turned up, seemingly for a visit, only to find out that Saskia was moving in with him and his housemates. Having met with school principal Jane Harris, who was impressed with Saskia's grades, and getting the approval of Max's housemates Taye and Byron, Yvette was satisfied that this was the right decision and she left her daughter on Ramsay Street, where a welcome party was being thrown for her.

As Saskia spent time in Erinsborough, it quickly became clear that she had issues with becoming attached to people, then lashing out when she was rejected by them. After attempting to seduce Byron, Saskia blamed his ex-girlfriend Sadie for the rejection and attempted to get her into trouble at the Lassiters Day Spa, where she worked, switching some products and causing Nicolette to have an allergic reaction. When teacher Wendy Rodwell started being nice to her, Saskia then latched onto her instead, eventually pushing things too far as she refused to leave Wendy alone and was asked to leave her house. The next day at school, Saskia then deliberately locked her teacher in a storage cupboard and, although Wendy was sure Saskia was responsible, she had no proof. After getting some part-time work at retirement home Eirini Rising, Saskia soon developed a new obsession with her boss, Susan Kennedy. When Susan tired of her too, she spoke to Jane and Wendy, who attempted to get some information about Saskia's behaviour from her previous school. The report showed that Saskia had been the bully, rather than the one being bullied, and had a habit of singling people out, but Saskia was one step ahead and managed to change the report before Jane had a chance to read it.

It was only when Susan told Saskia that Eirini Rising wouldn't be keeping her on after her trial period that her true behaviour started to become clear. She went into the Kennedy back garden and started trashing things, only to be caught by Dex Varga-Murphy, who she'd been dating and who agreed to keep quiet about what he'd seen. However, after then catching her also starting to trash things in Susan's office at Eirini, and realising that she had actually locked Wendy in the cupboard, Dex turned to Max for help. Finally aware of what had been going on with his little sister, Max told Wendy and Susan, as well as Susan's husband, Karl, who suggested that Saskia might have attachment issues and would need to speak to a psychologist. Rather than confronting Saskia, Max decided to call his mum, who arrived the next day, much to Saskia's surprise. Yvette had already admitted to Max that she'd had concerns about Saskia before her move to Erinsborough, and that she had hoped that the move might improve her behaviour. Taking much of the blame, Yvette realised that the divorce, as well as Max's move across the country, had left Saskia struggling to trust anyone, feeling that they would all abandon her in the end. Vowing to get help for her daughter back in Queensland, Yvette then accompanied her as she apologised to everyone who'd been affected by her behaviour.
