When baby Patrick Villante was due to have major surgery to repair a hole in his heart, his parents arranged for him to be baptised first, as a precaution. The small service was conducted by Father George Rowland in Patrick's hospital room, shortly before the surgery was due to take place, but thankfully the baby boy pulled through and was soon able to go home with his mum and dad.
