Blaze Saganté 2024
Occupation: Owner of Crimesborough Podcast

After taking over as the new owner of the Crimesborough podcast, Blaze Saganté contacted Holly Hoyland about an interview regarding her involvement in the death of Heath Royce in the outback. Holly had been involved in a previous Crimesborough investigation into Dr Gavin Bowman the serial poisoner when the podcast was owned by Liv Bellen, but Blaze insisted that she had a different approach and wanted the facts and not sensationalism. Hoping that giving her side of the story would help with her anxiety and panic attacks, and put an end to the whole drama, Holly agreed to chat to Blaze. During the interview, she made sure to try and keep things on track, only talking about the facts over what had happened with Heath, but when the new episode of Crimesborough was released the next day, she was horrified to realise that Blaze had twisted her words, suggesting that she was a cold-blooded killer, rather than Heath's victim who's acted in self-defence.

Not only did the podcast leave Holly facing a lot of judgement from the public, but it also attracted the attention of Heath's sister, Yasmine Shields. Yaz flew out from America to try to find out the truth and, with nobody aware of her true identity, she claimed that she was there to set up a lighting event. As she chatted to various locals about sponsorship and publicity, Yaz arranged to meet with Blaze to discuss a mention of the event on Crimesborough. Yaz then got Blaze chatting about the outback story, with Blaze admitting that she was convinced that there was more to the story and that Holly wasn't entirely innocent. As Blaze went to leave, Holly walked in and decided to confront her about the way she'd edited their interview. Though slightly taken aback, Blaze was unapologetic, insisting that it was worth it for the likes and, once she'd gone, Yaz took the opportunity to approach Holly herself, saying that she was impressed with the way that she just stood up for herself.
