Whilst out with his friend Daniel stealing the Heather Street sign in the hope of impressing his girlfriend Heather, Boyd Hoyland spotted Erinsborough High bully, and resident Goth, Barry Shears, on his own. Daniel and Boyd started taunting him, but suddenly his gang of friends appeared on their bikes, and Daniel and Boyd were chased all the way back to Ramsay Street, though they managed to make it home safely.

• Alex Cappelli returned in 2003 as both Dusk Dundler and Rueben Alecantero, and in 2005 as Mike Pill
