The beloved wife of Detective Alec Skinner hasn’t enjoyed the best of health. Having suffered post natal depression in her younger years, Trish later became seriously ill in 2006 which resulted in expensive hospital treatment. Alec was naturally concerned that she receive the best possible care. So, when dodgy businessman Paul Robinson offered him money in exchange for information about the identity of Lassiter’s mystery two percent share holder, Skinner was persuaded to accept. However when Robinson went on to attempt to bribe the policeman into framing Janelle Timmins for involvement in bootleg DVDs, Skinner fluffed the scheme and broke off their arrangement telling Paul not to bother calling him again.
