A teammate of Adam Clarke with the Portside Falcons football club, Rhys Sutton joined Adam in encouraging new player Ringo Brown to ditch his mates and go back to Adam's place for a party, where he was initiated by being told to strip naked and wait in the bathroom. The following week, Rhys was part of the group who encouraged Ringo to throw a party at Lassiter's hotel, to celebrate beating the rookie sprint record at the club. The party, attended by many players and female hangers-on, soon got out of hand, with a great deal of damage caused, leaving Ringo in deep water with his good mate Declan, who worked at the hotel and had given them the room.
