When rumours quickly spread around Erinsborough, following the untrue accusations from schoolgirl Janae Timmins that her counsellor, Dr Karl Kennedy, had behaved inappropriately with her, many patients were outraged. As teenage Tina Thewlis prepared for an appointment with Karl at the hospital, her outraged mother Jenny suddenly burst into the waiting room and dragged her daughter away, claiming that Karl couldn’t be trusted around young girls.
