When Harry Henderson returned from a trip to the Gold Coast with a new female companion, Yvette, she was quick to point out that she already had a boyfriend, boxer Tiger Thomas, so she and Harry would be nothing more than friends. However, Tiger didn't quite see it that way, and when Harry and Yvette were having dinner together, a fight broke out between the two men, and Yvette phoned Harry's granddaughter Daphne to tell her to come to the hospital. Daphne and her housemate Des rushed down there, expecting to find Harry badly hurt, only to see Tiger in the hospital bed. Yvette explained that Harry had stepped in to defend her, and had ended up doing kung fu. Tiger was determined to sue, until Des pointed out that, as a local champion boxer who'd been beaten up by an old man, he probably didn't need the story to go public. Realising that Des was right, Tiger agreed to forget the matter.
