Guest Character Profiles > Bill Warley Darren Mort

Bill Warley 2015, 2018
Marital Status: Sue Parker (Separated)
Children: Jayden

The volatile husband of Erinsborough councillor Sue Parker, Bill was alarmed when he saw a photo on an internet messageboard, placed there by Josh Willis in an attempt to get to the truth about what appeared to be a dead body in the background of a picture of a kissing couple. Bill recognised both Paul Robinson's shirt and a distinctive bangle that Sue had been wearing, confirming his suspicions that she'd cheated on him with Paul when they were dating. By then, Paul was the mayor of Erinsborough, but that didn't stop Bill from going to his penthouse apartment and punching him.

A few years later, Bill found himself caught up in another drama, when he turned out to be the alibi for one of the suspects in the murder of Hamish Roche. Bill, whose marriage to Sue had ended, met Fay Brennan at Lassiter's hotel, during the Guy Fawkes Night gala and they ended up spending the night together. When Hamish was found dead the next morning, Tyler - Fay and Hamish's son - became the prime suspect. As time went on, it was looking more and more like Tyler was facing a long stretch in prison, so Fay decided to confess to the murder to save her son. As the police looked into her movements on the night of the gala, they saw her speaking to Bill, and later he got the hotel lift to her floor shortly after she did. When the police tried to get in touch with Bill, he contacted Fay, wanting to know why, and she begged him to keep their night together a secret, but Detective Graves and Constable Mishti Sharma managed to get her to admit that she'd made up her murder confession to protect Tyler.
