After finding herself framed by her ex-boyfriend Mitch Foster, who robbed her at MOCO and made it look like she was involved, Steph Scully was in serious trouble as Mitch disappeared. After going to the national park to one of Mitch’s favourite camping spots, Steph ran into a man named Alan Watkins, who claimed to never have heard of Mitch, but said that he’d been shown a mug shot by the police, and would pass a message on if he happened to bump into him in the park. Growing increasingly desperate, Steph later went back and begged Alan for information, but he continued to insist that he knew nothing. Later, however, guilt got the better of him and he phoned Steph to tell her that he’d seen Mitch camping down at Prospect South Creek, where Steph found him, seriously injured, got him to hospital and, with the help of her friend Stuart Parker, tricked him into confessing.
