Who moved here: Rosie Hoyland
After a spell doing aid work in Papua New Guinea, Reverend Rosie Hoyland moved on to Fiji. There she made a new life for herself and was regularly visited by her granddaughter, Summer, who, after seeing the good work her nan was doing, even briefly decided to become a vicar herself.
New Zealand
Who came from here: Lori Lee, Daphne Lawrence
Who moved here: Henry Ramsay, Bronwyn Davies, Sharon Davies, Lori Lee
When Henry Ramsay was offered a DJing job in late 1989, it meant leaving behind Erinsborough, and his precious fiancee Bronwyn, and moving to New Zealand. He bid her, and his mum Madge, a tearful farewell at the airport, before being joined soon after by Bronwyn, where they married. Not long after Bronwyn moved away, her sister Sharon also left Erinsborough to join them. In 2003, pregnant Lori Lee fled Erinsborough for her home in New Zealand, rather than admit to Connor O'Neill that she hadn't aborted their child. Original Ramsay Street resident Daphne Lawrence also came from New Zealand.
Papua New Guinea
Who moved here: Petra McLachlan, Russell McLachlan, Tiffany 'Lochy' McLachlan, Rosie Hoyland
When Ryan and Lochy's parents moved to Port Moresby in 1990, they went to stay with their Aunt Dorothy in Ramsay Street, though Lochy soon left to join her mum and dad. In 2002, Reverend Rosie Hoyland found herself facing problems after breaking the confidence of Ruby Dwyer, and decided to make up for her indiscretion by taking on aid work in Papua New Guinea, later moving to Fiji.
