In 1993, Rosemary Daniels was seen in her apartment in New York City, reading the New York Times, and discussing some letters belonging to her sister, Anne, with their mother, Helen.

The following year, location filming took place in New York City, for one scene, which saw Debbie Martin, who had gone to spend some time there earlier that year, phoning her father Philip to tell him that she'd decided to stay on in America and wouldn't be coming home for Christmas. Though Debbie moved home in 1996 and moved up north in 1997, she later returned to work for her Aunt Rosemary in New York City, and was shown in her office during the 20th Anniversary Documentary in 2005.

In 2010, Rosemary was seen in a boardroom overlooking the Empire State Building as she engaged in a series of video conferences and telephone calls with Diana Marshall and Paul Robinson.
