 A coastal town in the north of Western Australia, Broome was where Guy Carpenter accepted a job working as a swimming instructor in 1992 after only a year in Erinsborough, and also where Valda Sheergold went to work as a cook on a holiday resort in 2003. Broome was also the home of Ruth Wilkinson's parents, who she visited several times between 1997 and 1999, helping them to move from their house into a retirement home.

 Whilst visiting the scenic Bungle Bungles in the north of Western Australia, artist Helen Daniels met Frank Darcy and they had a brief relationship, though when he asked her to move out there with him, though tempted, Helen realised that she couldn't leave Erinsborough behind her.

 The captial of the state of Western Australia, Perth was home to numerous Ramsay Street residents at one time or another. The Clarke and Wells families originally came from Perth, as did mechanics Greg Cooper and Tony Romeo, and Andrea Townsend and son Bradley, whilst David, Liljana and Serena Bishop also had their home there, until they moved to Erinsborough in 2003. Liljana's family, the Ristics, had a vineyard close to Perth, and the Dokich family also lived in the area. In 1990, after paying her several visits, Des Clarke moved back to his home city of Perth to marry girlfriend Fiona, while in 1993, newlyweds Brad and Beth Willis moved out to Perth, where she had found work as a labourer.
