The house that was the home of Joan Langdon, and her children, twins Susan and Rodney. The house was divided up into small flats, one of which was home to the Langdons and another where a girl named Libby lived with her mother. The Langdons' flat features an open plan kitchen/dining/living room, one bedroom and a bathroom.

After meeting through a dating agency, Joan took Des back to her house and told him about her children, who were asleep in bed. Des quickly left, but returned, ashamed of his behaviour, and the relationship blossomed. Des, and later his mother Eileen, would regularly visit the Langdons as Des and Joan became engaged and the wedding planning began. However, when Geoff, Joan's ex-husband the father of the twins, came back into her life, looking for forgiveness for his past behaviour, she accepted him back and decided, for the sake of the children, to give their relationship another chance, breaking off her engagement to a devastated Des.
