Mavournee Hazel, from Adelaide, was born in 1996.
Mavournee became interested in performing when she was eight years old, starring in various stage productions, and secured a performing arts scholarship at Ann Peters School of Acting in 2007. Mavournee completed the three-year
course, during which she was taught the theories and technicalities of acting.
Mavournee has had supporting roles in Sam Fox – Extreme Adventures, Changed Forever, Catching Milat and a guest appearance on Totally Wild.
Before joining Neighbours as Piper Willis in 2015, Mavournee had a support lead role in the short film Servo. Ahead of her first appearance on Neighbours, Mavournee was featured in a new series of webisodes,
called Hey Piper, which saw the character making online video calls to members of her family. Piper then made her first appearance on screen in September 2015.
As well as acting, Mavournee is a accomplished athlete, making the South Australian High School team twice in the sport of lacrosse.
