Born 4th July 1975 in Melbourne, Scott Major studied acting at The National Theatre in St Kilda and had guest roles in numerous Australian drama series in the 90s, including Water Rats, Police Rescue and All Saints. In 1993, he made his first Neighbours appearance in the guest role of Darren Stark, and in the same year, he appeared as Rivers in the film The Heartbreak Kid. This led on to a television series, Heartbreak High, in which Scott continued to play Rivers for two series.
Scott’s next long-running role came in 2001 when he was cast as Tom Morgan in the quirky Australian comedy drama Always Greener. He went on to have guest roles in Blue Heelers and City Homicide, as well as spending two years in the UK, where he filmed guest parts in Doctors and Love Soup. In April 2008, Scott returned to the Neighbours cast, this time in the regular role of easy-going mechanic Lucas Fitzgerald. Scott also runs Bathroom Floor Productions in Melbourne.
