Born May 1st 1990 in Australia, Caitlin Jean Stasey spent her childhood in various countries, including the UK, before her parents settled back in Australia. After joining an after school drama club and appearing in several amateur productions, Caitlin got her big break in September 2003, joining the principal cast of children’s drama The Sleepover Club as Francesca Thomas.
As well as an appearance in The Sleepover Club’s second season, she auditioned for, and won, the role of Neighbours’ Rachel Kinski in April 2005. In 2006, Caitlin appeared on the television special Australia’s Brainiest Neighbour, alongside several of her colleagues from the cast, and came second to Stephen Lovatt (Max Hoyland).
