Today marks the third anniversary of the launch of Neighbours: The Perfect Blend. We'd like to thank everyone who's read, and contributed to, the website during that time.
Perfect Blend now contains thousands of pages and is a far bigger Neighbours resource than we could ever have dreamt of when we first began, with over 450 character biographies, 250 magic moments, 90 interviews and much, much more. And there's plenty more where that came from. In the past fortnight, we've launched Cameo Profiles, the Opening Titles Gallery and Character Tenures sections and in the coming months, we'll be adding more interviews and features, as well as launching Actor Profiles.
Here's to another three years!

Daniel MacPherson (Joel Samuels) has suffered a shocking accident during training for the Australian Ironman Championships. The cycling accident took place in the Royal National Park last weekend and Daniel suffered a broken collar bone, three broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder and major cuts and bruising. It is thought, however, that he had a lucky escape as he was wearing a helmet, which took the brunt of the fall. The accident means that Daniel will no longer be able to compete for the iron man title.

Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker) is currently in the United States, putting the finishing touches to a new track, Never Fade Away. The new song is due to be featured on the US release of her album Born To Try, which will contain songs, and some remixes from the UK and Australian releases of her first two albums, Innocent Eyes and Mistaken Identity. The album is also planned for release in Japan.
It seems that Kylie Minogue (Charlene Robinson) hasn’t completely ruled out a return to Neighbours. Kylie was quoted in the NT News this week, saying that she “wouldn’t rule out a return to it one day.”
Meanwhile, Daniel MacPherson (Joel Samuels) has been recovering after collapsing at the end of a triathlon at the weekend. After finishing in the top 10 of his age group at the South Coast course on Sunday, he was taken to hospital, but had made a full recovery by the following day. He’s now in training for the Australian Ironman Championships in April and is also thought to be in the cast of Channel Ten’s newest drama series.

Australia’s Herald Sun reports that Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Izzy Hoyland) and Rogue Traders could soon be bringing their music to the UK charts. The word is that Sony/BMG has signed the group in Europe and the album Here Comes The Drums, as well as a debut single, Voodoo Child will be accompanied by a promotional tour in April or May. With her popularity growing both in the UK and Australia, Neighbours bosses are keen to keep Natalie on the show and are willing to accommodate her time off at the moment.
Another DVD Update

Despite our recent news item stating that the 20th Anniversary DVD might be put off due to a new deal between FremantleMedia and Rajon, it seems that the DVD is still intended to see the light of day. We’ve again been told that music licensing problems are the reasons behind the hold-up though, with no firm dates or details available yet.
Things are, unfortunately, looking very bleak where the 20th Anniversary DVD is concerned. According to a Grundy contact, they have now renewed their contract with Rajon to produce the Defining Moments DVD for another year. However, this means that no other Neighbours DVD can be produced until that contract runs out. We'll keep you informed of any further developments.
