Brodie Holland Cameo

As
if Rove McManus and Shane Warne weren't enough,
another cameo appearance has been announced for this year,
in the shape of football star Brodie Holland. According
to the Sunday Herald Sun, Brodie, who plays for Collingwood,
will film his scenes later this week with Stephen Lovatt
(Max Hoyland) for broadcast later this year.
Stephanie Goes Back To Reality

The
Herald Sun reports that Stephanie McIntosh (Sky
Mangel) will launch her music career on a reality TV show.
She and boyfriend Nick Riewoldt will appear in the documentary
that will follow the recording of her album, Tightrope. It
will follow her juggling her Neighbours commitments
and recording her album. Her first single is expected to be
released midyear, around the time the TV show will air on
Channel Ten.
Izzy Moves Out

The
Herald Sun reports that Natalie Bassingthwaighte
has announced her departure from the show after three years
playing resident vixen Izzy Hoyland. In a week that saw Natalie
amongst the chosen few to be nominated for the coveted Gold
Logie, she admitted that she wanted "to have other acting
opportunities." She will film her final scenes on June 2nd
and will be gone from both UK and Australian screens by the
end of the year.
Once
filming is finished, she intends to head to the UK for promotional
work with her band, Rogue Traders.

Week has published the nominations lists for this year's
Logie Awards. From Neighbours, Natalie Bassingthwaighte
(Izzy Hoyland) is up for the Silver Logie for Most Popular
Actress, while both Pippa Black (Elle Robinson) and
Dan O'Connor (Ned Parker) are nominated for Most Popular
New Talent and the show itself is on the list for the Most
Popular Australian Drama award.
In
more good news for Nat Bassingthwaighte, she's found
herself on the shortlist of eight Australian television celebrities
vying for the Gold Logie. This year's winner will be vote
for, not only by readers of TV Week magazine, but by
the entire Australia public, who can phone or SMS. All the
information and voting forms are currently available in TV
Week and the awards will take place this year on Sunday
7th May.
Carmella's Comeback

DigitalSpy
reports that Natalie Blair is set to rejoin the Neighbours
cast this year. She's already been filming for a while, and
her return will apparently see Carmella undertaking a surprising
new career.
In
more Natalie news, weekend reports have stated that she's
become engaged to her boyfriend, former Home and Away
actor Beau Brady.
Lucy De Ville's UK Record Release

Lucy
De Ville's self-titled album will soon be available in
the UK. The band have signed a deal with Proper Access
Distribution. From 1st May 2006 UK fans will be able to
order the CD over the counter at all major record stores.

Another Panto For Anne

It maybe only April, but the first UK Panto news is already here! Anne Charleston (Madge Bishop) will be appaering at the Bournemouth Pavilion in a production of Robin Hood: The Babes In The Wood, from Sunday 10th December 2006 until Sunday 7th January 2007.
