Connor Wins Case

Shane
Connor (Joe Scully) has won his unfair dismissal case
against Grundy Television. Justice Robert Osborn found
in favour of Connor at the Victorian Supreme Court on Wednesday
30th November, and ordered Grundy to pay him $196,709 in damages.
Connor was sacked and escorted from the set in September 2003
after months of alleged negligence and misconduct, but Justice
Osborn felt that there was no evidence to back up the reasons
for his dismissal. Connor did not appear at the verdict, as
he is currently in the UK, preparing to appear in panto. It
is not currently known whether Grundy will appeal the decision.
