There's good news for Toadie Rebecchi this week, when Steph Hoyland has a change of heart and accepts his marriage proposal. However, there's no time for the couple to celebrate, as Steph's new position on the local council sees her coming into conflict with her neighbours...

"Steph's trying to save the graffiti wall that was painted in memory of the late Stingray Timmins," explains Carla Bonner, who plays the councillor. "Obviously, it's very dear to everyone's hearts, and Steph's a gutsy chick who'll always fight for what she believes in, but the wall puts her in a tricky situation. While she wants to save it, she's told that she has to sacrifice this battle in order to get one of her other ideas, a child-care centre, passed."

As the residents try to stop the wall being repainted, things escalate. "Stingray's sister, Janae, puts up a fight at the last minute," says Carla. "The police are there, and Steph's forced to choose whether to side with the council or with her friends..."
