A Side: Neighbours Theme (Episode 2001)
B Side: Neighbours Theme

This single was released long before Episode 2001, which could indicate a misprint possibly for Episode 1001 instead. Also, the cast sing different lyrics written by Mark Little (Joe Mangel) and Cathy Farr.

Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours
But hereıs a friendly word of warning

Just be careful what you say
Neighbours, for us poor blighters here in Ramsay Street
Drama is only a footpath away
Neighbours, you pick your friends but not your neighbours
Just a slight misunderstanding
And the mayhem never ends
Neighbours, interfering with each other
Be sure that thatıs where the friendship ends

Neighbours, life is better when your neighbours
Say ŒCheerio, weıre finally going
On that long planned holidayı
Neighbours sit and listen to your problems
Because theyıre too nice to say Œgo awayı
Neighbours, neighbours, neighbours in the UK
The smallest suburb in Australia
Erinsboroughıs here to stay
Neighbours, sipping tea up at Dafıs gossip shop
Thatıs where good neighbours become good friends

The B Side is also a merge between the two different versions, where the cast begin with Trentıs lyrics, then sing Little and Farrıs after the instrumental break.
