One Year Ago - June 2003

A sudden arrest and departure, a one-night stand with huge repercussions and a marriage proposal meant a huge month of roller-coaster emotions…

 

• Ruby is arrested for the robbery at the Kennedy house, but Lyn and Harold are both convinced of her innocence. Lyn eventually has a flashback to the event and realises that it was Darcy, leading to his arrest

• Darcy is taken to prison, where Toadie and Dee go to see him and he reveals his entire plot to split them up. This revelation brings Dee and Toadie back together and causes him to propose to her

• Valda struggles to keep her secret to herself, but it ends up being revealed when Henry sends down some old home movies, and Lyn realises that Valda, and not Connie, was the one carrying the baby. Lyn, unable to come to terms with all the years of deceit, refuses to see her mother

• Following Jack’s betrayal and Michelle’s departure, Connor and Lori begin to rely on each other more and more to the point where they have a one-night stand. They are then unable to face each other, but matters get worse when Lori realises that although she was taking the pill, its effects were countered by some antibiotics she was taking. Lori immediately realises that she is pregnant

• Boyd’s behaviour only gets worse when he is dumped by Heather and then steals $100 from his father

• Taj’s crush on Libby grows and she manages to score work at the school. However, Taj’s nose is put out-of-joint when Libby starts getting closer to Cameron Hodder, Darcy’s replacement at the surgery

• Nina’s career moves forward as she is signed up by manager Melody Jones, who has big plans for her

• Summer returns from a holiday in Fiji with Rosie and has become a changed person. She announces that after all the suffering she witnessed, she now wants to become a priest

 

Five Years Ago - June 1999

A huge sacrifice, plenty of complicated relationships and a devastating revelation for one young resident…

• Peter and Sarah’s engagement is going extremely well until she realises that something happened between her and Karl in the past. The revelation ends up separating the couple, but their friends are determined to get them back together

Tad hears that his parents are separating and that Toadie can no longer look after him. He realises that if he wants to stay, he must find someone to take him in. He ends up with offers from both the Kennedys and the Bishops

Lance receives a visit from Julia, a girl he met while fruit-picking in Mildura. Lance then gets a new girlfriend – Megan – but Amy does not trust her and decides to follow the two of them

UNI fm holds a fundraising car cram, during which Libby and Drew end up thrust together inside the car, and Karl takes a photo showing just how much they seemed to enjoy getting close to each other

Toadie decides to announce that he’ll cut off his famous ponytail if they raise enough money, and his bluff is called when Lou stumps up the cash. Lou then proceeds to cut Toadie’s hair infront of everyone at the radio station

Drew gets close to Shannon Jones, leaving Libby worried about how jealous she is. With Shannon then out of the picture, Drew decides to tell Libby how he really feels about her, but she takes it badly

• Bill cannot resist the temptation to read Anne’s diary, but gets a nasty surprise when he does

• Tad arranges a gig to impress older woman, Becky, but things go wrong when the faulty equipment blows up

• Harold starts to feel ill, and becomes concerned that his amnesia is returning, so he keeps his condition hidden from his family and friends

 


Ten Years Ago - June 1994

A shocking blast from one resident’s past, as well as an eating disorder and a shocking accident…

 

• The feud between the Martins and the Starks reaches boiling point, resulting in Julie accidentally running down a heavily pregnant Cheryl. However, the police aren’t so quick to believe that it was an accident, while the life of Cheryl’s unborn child hangs in the balance

Dave Gottlieb offers Helen a herbal remedy to help with her glaucoma

Cody gets a nasty shock when Drew Grover – her husband – arrives in Erinsborough to ask for a divorce. The pair almost end up rekindling their relationship, but Cody realises that Drew cannot be trusted

Pam returns from a biker convention in Canberra with a young man named Sam Kratz. It emerges that Sam’s nan has bought number 24 from Madge, which comes as a huge shock to Lou and Cheryl, who are currently living there

Debbie struggles with her unrequited love for Makka, who is forced to reveal that he’s gay. During dance lessons, Debbie collapses infront of everyone and her family begin to realise that there is something seriously wrong, especially with the amount of weight she is losing

Annalise meets publisher Elliot Patterson, who is very interested in publishing an anthology of her poetry. Meanwhile, Dave and Helen make a picture using footprints to use as the cover of the book

The debutante ball finally arrives and Michael makes a surprise return to accompany Danni. During the ball, a fight breaks out and Cody’s dress, which used to belong to her mother, gets ripped
