Karl and Susan find a letter under the lino in the kitchen, to Jamie Clarke from his mother Daphne. Unsure of where to find Jamie, they place an ad in the national press to track him down
The Kennedys face more problems as they start to grow further apart and he relies more and more on his new friendship with Izzy Hoyland.

One family leaves, as another moves in, while several young residents had problems with their love lives...
After an emotional few weeks, the Martin family finally pack up and say goodbye to Ramsay Street
Only moments later, the Scully family – parents Joe and Lyn and their three daughters Stephanie, Felicity and Michelle – move into number 26
All three Scully daughters set their sets on the men of Ramsay Street. Steph takes a shine to Drew, Flick tries to get the attentions of Bill, while Michelle likes her neighbour Paul
Joel’s relationship with Natalie begins to go badly when it emerges that she has a teenage son, Liam, who strongly disapproves of the new man in his mother’s life. In the end, Natalie is forced to end things for the sake of her son
When Bob accidentally gets exchanged for a different dog, Toadie meets Charlie Thorpe, an English exchange student who has the real Bob. Toadie and Charlie begin seeing each other, but his friends aren’t impressed as he abandons them for his demanding new woman
Karl earns the nickname Dr. Love as a mysterious person blabs to a magazine about his indiscretions with Sarah Beaumont
Amy begins doing charity work in an effort to prove to her friends that she isn’t greedy and self-centred

Malcolm gets off to a bad start with the locals when he accidentally shoots Lou in the leg whilst showing off to some new school friends in the garage
A disturbed Debbie finally reveals what happened on the night of Julie’s death, and it emerges that it was all an accident, caused by Julie’s drinking. Debbie then leaves to stay with Rosemary in New York
Rick leaves to go and train for his Lassiter’s management at their hotel in Montana
Mark and Annalise take part in the Big Bash in the Northern Territory and he takes the opportunity to propose whilst their taking a romantic swim in a watering hole
Hannah struggles to cope with Julie’s death and begins talking to her dead mother. Cody helps her get over her grief by performing a small ceremony at Lassiter’s Lake
Ren begins seeing a friend of Sam’s – Chip Kelly – but she is forced to flee during a date when he tries to attack her. Karl begins to suspect that the man is taking steroids
