Lou finds himself lost in the bush and on the verge of death when he is finally found and taken to hospital. Once recovered, he decides to try and win back Valda, but she’s already decided that she wants nothing to do with him
Gus continues to drug Max, whilst winning over the rest of the family. When Max collapses at home, tests reveal that he’s being poisoned, but Gus manages to make it look like it was one of the kitchen hands at the pub
Toadie suddenly goes missing, kidnapped by Rocco, as his relationship with Sindi is revealed. Scott and Sindi are devastated, while Stuart believes that there’s more to Toadie’s departure than meets the eye
Lori returns to town and introduces Connor to his daughter, Maddy. Jack is jealous and manages to win back Lori, while Connor struggles to balance his many problems
Michelle decides to return to New York when she realises that she will never have Connor’s full commitment now that he has a child
Karl and Izzy finally get together when they’re trapped in a lift together
Scott and Serena go on their first date, but things don’t go well for them
Susan meets a mysterious stranger at the supermarket and is later shocked to find out that he’s Joe’s younger brother, Tom, and that he’s a priest

Anne announces plans to join Bill in Queensland and transfer to Dawber University. She doesn’t tell Bill, and he’s thrilled when she turns up
Drew and Libby have an old-fashioned picture taken and he shocks her by proposing again. This time, she accepts and the wedding plans begin
Joel decides to try and win over Dione, but it looks like he’s going to have a fight on his hands, as she continually refuses to speak to him
Lyn’s parents, Henry and Connie, pay a surprise visit and park their caravan in the middle of Ramsay Street, while Michelle's bullying nightmare continues until she faces up to her tormentors
Tad believes that he’s finally tracked down Rachel, his birth mother, but is devastated to find out that he’s got the wrong person
Lyn is worried when Ivan Hart, the salon owner, disappears, but she agrees to help his wife, Katrina, keep the business open. Meanwhile, Geri Hallett is revealed to be taking brides from a rival salon to plug them on the radio, so she decides to get in on the action
Tess is confused by her feelings for abusive ex-husband Brendan, as he refuses to leave her alone and they end up sharing a kiss

Billy is caught smoking, but his unorthodox punishment by Karl – being forced to smoke – leads Billy to become ill and he’s diagnosed with asthma
Mark finds Lucy Robinson working as a podium dancer in a club and brings her back to Ramsay Street. She explains about divorcing her husband and being forced to make money any way possible
Ren starts seeing Kingston, the grandson of Helen’s fiance, Reuben. Before long, Ren is thinking about setting up business with the man.
Libby finds work at the Erinsborough News and also develops a crush on older man, Luke Handley, Jen’s brother
Sam begins to develop a gambling addiction, but is stopped in his tracks when Annalise returns to town and wants to spend all of her time with him
? Susan’s old neighbour, Carmel, dumps her trouble-making children on the Kennedys and before long, they’re running riot on Ramsay Street
