One Year Ago - March 2004

One Scully returned to town, while another made a sudden departure. Meanwhile, there was a new face in town, causing problems for an old favourite…

 

• Joe is forced to leave the Scully house in the middle of renovations for Making Mansions, when he gets word that his father and brother have been involved in a nasty accident on the farm in Bendigo

Michelle Scully returns to town for a surprise visit and things quickly start to go wrong when she catches Connor with his new girlfriend, Carmella. Connor is forced to choose between the two girls and picks Michelle, leaving Carmella angry and hurt. Connor is also forced to reveal what happened with Lori after Michelle left Erinsborough the previous year

Toadie’s young cousin, Scott Timmins, makes a memorable entrance when he streaks at a football game, causing a riot and giving Toadie a huge headache. Karl begins to suspect that the young boy may have ADHD

Gus’ plans to take over as head of the Hoyland household continue, as he gets the kids onside and puts drugs in Max’s drink, endangering his life as he drives Steph to the hospital for a check-up

Susan struggles to cope without a husband in her life, but her friends prove to be very supportive and she makes a fresh start with a whole new wardrobe and a new hairstyle

Stuart struggles as he joins the police training academy and constantly clashes with Senior Constable Allan Steiger

Sindi reveals that she’s been seeing a married man – none other than Rocco Cammeniti

Lou finds out that Trixie’s show has been cancelled and he is bankrupt. In an act of desperation, he becomes involved in an illegal racehorse ringing scam with Rocco. As this also backfires on him, he turns to Susan for comfort, then realises his mistake and decides that he has to leave Erinsborough to escape Rocco

 

Five Years Ago - March 2000

Two young locals left Erinsborough for pastures new, while another also made plans to go. Elsewhere, there was bullying, love triangles and an abusive ex-husband…

• Bill reveals to Anne that his leaving date has been brought forward and they are forced to have a long-distance relationship. Everyone goes to Luna Park for his send-off party

A heartbroken Anne realises that she can’t be without Bill, so she decides to transfer to Dawber University and reunite with him

Amy also leaves town, to marry her boyfriend, and father of her baby, Damien, before going on a honeymoon to Fiji. Upon her return, she moves into Damien’s flat on the other side of the city

Michelle becomes the victim of bullying at school and suffers at the hands of Dione’s younger sister, Cecile

Lou meets Lolly’s primary school teacher, Merridy Jackson and the pair get off to a bad start, but soon start to see a new side to each other

Flick, Paul and Tad sneak out to a concert, but when Flick leaves her bag behind, the club phones the Scully house and Lyn and Joe are furious. However, it seems to be the least of their problems when another mystery young man is trying to track Flick down too

Joel finds himself in a love triangle with Dione and her best friend, Carrie Clark

 


Ten Years Ago - March 1995

The departure of a long-running favourite, while romance was in the air for several single Ramsay Street residents…

 

• Rick leaves Ramsay Street to help run the Lassiter’s Hotel in Darwin. He and Cody are torn over whether to make a clean break or try to maintain their relationship long-distance

Cheryl, Sam helps Bianca to track down her mother, while she also decides to make a fresh start and apply for agricultural college

Helen finds new love when a mix-up in Marlene’s shop causes a charming man named Reuben White to buy one of her paintings. The couple soon start to see a lot of each other

Cheryl admits that her reluctance to marry Lou is down to a curse that was put on her by a gypsy when she was younger

Lou finds out that the local council is planning to demolish a local park to build a freeway, so he arranges for several locals to form a protest committee under the name of Parkwatch

Cody’s new friend from medical school, Jen Handley, develops a crush on Phil, but he seems completely oblivious to her advances

Karl and Susan consider having another baby together, but he isn’t keen on the idea and it leads to several arguments in the Kennedy household

Libby reveals a flair for writing and is offered a part-time job at the Erinsborough News
