One Year Ago - August 2004

Secrets and lies made up the majority of an extremely busy month for the Ramsay Street residents…

 

• Believing that Libby no longer trusts him, Darren tells her that he can’t be around her any more, and he sells his business and leaves town

Lou wins his appeal in court and is released from jail

Darcy is given day release and gets a job at the hospital where he uncovers the truth about Izzy’s baby. As he confronts her, he falls down the stairs and ends up in a coma, leaving Izzy to frame him for robbing Karl’s flat

Izzy struggles to keep up the pretence about the baby and is forced to fake an ultrasound to stop Karl from finding out the truth

Svetlanka returns to town, with only Serena knowing of her presence and she begs her granddaughter to help her heal the rift in the family

Lana Crawford arrives in town and enrols at Erinsborough High whilst also taking a job at the Coffee Shop

Jack’s drug addiction comes to a horrific end when he crashes the car whilst driving to work one morning

Susan ends her relationship with Tom, who decides to leave town and visit his brothers in Bendigo

 

Five Years Ago - August 2000

A new crush for one resident made things very awkward, whilst a new relationship was built on lies…

• Flick joins the football team to impress coach Pete, but her crush comes to an abrupt halt when she realises that he’s married

Dione kisses her ex-boyfriend Max, but when Joel finds out, he reacts calmly, making Dione wonder if he’s really serious about her

Following his break-up with Libby, Steph gets closer to Drew as she helps him to move on and she realises that she’s falling in love with him

Lance finds a new girlfriend in the form of Maurie’s daughter, Lisa Ryan. Lisa believes that Lance is a lot more outgoing and daring than he actually is, and he allows the pretence to continue

Paul finds himself with a demanding new girlfriend, Cheyenne Rivers

Susan is blackmailed by Cheyenne’s dad, Gareth, into removing controversial book, Rainbow Alley, from the school syllabus

Tad gets a new part-time job as a DJ

Michelle spends all of her money on chocolate bars in the hope of winning a visit from her favourite boyband, Boy4

 


Ten Years Ago - August 1995

New relationships, as well as the rekindling of old ones, a couple of old faces and a little cross-dressing made for an interesting month…

 

• Mark’s run of good luck finally comes to an end when he falls from the roof of number 22 and ends up in hospital in a coma

Ren and Luke’s worry over Mark reunites them and he ends up proposing, which she accepts. However, a job offer for Luke, teaching English in Japan, could spell the end of their happiness

Annalise and Jo realise they’re doing business with known criminal Roger Reynolds and help the police to catch him

Angie moves into number 32 to be with Stonie, leaving Mal and Danni feelings like intruders in their own home

Susan helps two of her students, Blair and Stacey Griffiths, when it emerges that they’re coping on their own at home

Jen decides to help her cousin, Sarah, with a bone marrow transplant, despite the fact that she’s allergic to general anaesthetic

Colin Taylor returns to town and sets about wooing Marlene

Lou convinces Stonie to dress up as Cheryl for an advertising campaign for the pub
