abandons religion, gets drunk in the pub and starts

Lou and Trixie's marriage gets off to a shaky start
as she proves to be a lousy housewife and wants to get
back into theatre with a starring role in a tour of
Hello Dolly. Lou agrees to put up the bulk of the finance
for the show and follow her to Asia
Liljana's
mother, Svetlanka, arrives in town and quickly makes
her feelings clear about her daughter's new way of life
following David losing all of their money. When Liljana
refuses to return to Perth, Svetlanka threatens her
with a secret from the past Serena
finds herself lured into the world of Chris Cousens,
a dodgy photographer who flatters her. However, she
seems to be headed into danger when she goes with him
to a hotel…
Joe and Lyn apply to appear on Making Mansions, a reality
makeover show on cable tv. They are shocked to be accepted
to appear and everyone is surprised when Toadie's ex
Sindi Watts is the presenter of the series

admits to cheating in his exams and looks like losing
everything, until movie director Sam Tinselman stays
at the hotel and offers him a job. He leaves immediately
to live in Sydney

The
effects of the Millennium street party were felt in Erinsborough
for many weeks to come…
Both Lolly and Drew are found to be fine following the
fire, and everyone mistakenly believes that Libby has
agreed to marry Drew, a situation which gets worse when
his parents arrive in town.
With
Susan's help, Tess decides to leave her abusive husband,
Brendan and she rents number 32 from Philip Martin.
Anne Wilkinson joins her as a lodger
Tad
struggles to cope with the burden of knowing that he's
adopted. His behaviour spirals out of control to the
point where Harold finds him passed out with alcohol
poisoning. He finally admits the truth to Susan
Bill
is offered a job by Greg Mast, but he and Anne are horrified
to realise that it will involve him moving north to
Queensland
Amy's
friends are all worried about her health, but she refuses
to acknowledge the fact that she could be pregnant.
When a test proves positive, she realises that she must
face up to it and admit to Lance that she's secretly
been seeing Damien
Joel finds a new woman in the form of Dione Bliss, when
he and Toadie go out to a restaurant and pretend to
be rich
Michelle's
crush on Paul begins to get out of hand when she decides

Annalise is horrified by Mark's decision to become a
priest, and decides to get away and escape Ramsay Street
for a while

Brett and Danni gradually come to terms with Lou's long-lost
daughter, Mai Ling. He introduces her to the family,
and attempts to get to know her
Squirrel finally admits that Sam isn't really the father
of her baby, she had just wanted him to be
Annalise is shocked to realise that a mole on her shoulder
is malignant and she has to go into hospital to have
the cancer removed
Cody decides to fight the university cricket team's
sexism by proving a point. With Karl's help, she dresses
up as a guy, named Willis Kennedy, and joins the team
Carpenter's
Cars burns down and it looks like Lou has been framed
for arson, until his right-hand man Alex is caught out.
Lou faces more problems as he runs for the mayoral election,
and the fire incident makes a huge dent in his campaigning
Shane Rebecchi is revealed to be the thief who has been
terrorising Ramsay Street, and the Rebecchi family decide
to move out as they are ostracised
Libby
is horrified when Billy finds some love stories she's
been writing and before long, word is out and Libby
is a laughing stock at school
