Having disposed of Gus, Izzy sets about making Karl diagnose her as being pregnant, letting him believe that the baby must be his. They try to keep it under wraps, but when Sky finds out, Izzy decides to silence the critics and announces her news in the Coffee Shop. Karl realises he has to tell Susan and Libby before someone else does, leading to a devastating confrontation between all parties in the middle of Ramsay Street
Libby is in for another shock when her ex, Darren Stark, turns up to fix the electrics at number 28. Libby tries to resist him and concentrate on a new man, who has been emailing her, until she realises that it’s been Darren all along
Jack meets party girl Mac, but promises his mum that he’ll try and just stay friends with her. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Jack, she is also getting close to another neighbour, as police partner to Stuart
Tom and Susan finally share a kiss and give in to their feelings for one another, but he is unable to get the church out of his mind
Valda returns to town, as the mysterious new owner of number 22
Scott and Sky go head-to-head as they attempt to win a council arts grant
Toadie finally agrees to move on from Dee and commit to Sindi, but she isn’t completely convinced and holds off from moving in with him
Steph is devastated when a pregnancy test is negative, having built her hopes up

Two neighbours found themselves facing serious legal proceedings, while two more had even more devastating events to deal with…
Lance and Toadie compete for Steph’s attention, but she’s completely oblivious to it, until her friend Kate points out the obvious. Steph is forced to let them both down gently
When Harold’s face appears on a tv photo-fit, wanted for an armed robbery committed when he lived in Tasmania, it looks like he has no alibi, and isn’t even completely sure of his own innocence, since he was suffering from amnesia at the time
Karl gives Maurie Ryan’s wife, Glenda, the all clear but she is then diagnosed with cancer and Maurie threatens to sue
Joel and Dione get together and things are going well until his father, Bernie, arrives and flirts with Dee, leaving her in a very awkward position
Lou confesses to Merridy that he’s in love with her, but it’s too late as she leaves to take up her new job in Katherine
Flick finally realises that Sean isn’t right for her and dumps him
A jealous Brendan causes a crash with Steph and Libby, leaving the latter in critical condition in hospital on the eve of her wedding. Libby’s injuries mean that she may never be able to have children
Meanwhile, Tess is wracked with guilt as her husband lies in hospital and she realises the destruction he’s caused. Her emotions become even more confused when Brendan dies suddenly
