One Year Ago - November and December 2004

The face of Erinsborough was changed forever as a former resident returned…

 

• Libby receives a call from Darren and decides to accept his offer and move up to Shepparton. Susan says a tearful farewell to her daughter as she leaves Erinsborough for good. Jack also leaves Erinsborough, for Hollywood, to be with Nina

Sky kisses Lana, but admits that she only did it to test her feelings, ruining both her relationship with Boyd and her friendship with Lana. Boyd and Serena begin a secret relationship, but Serena realises that his heart isn’t in it and she reunites her cousin with him

Luka’s obsession with having a real family, as well as his pyromania, come to the fore and he agrees to leave for Perth and his adoptive family, where he can get help for his problems

Stingray’s mother, Janelle, pops up in Erinsborough and tries to convince her son to return to Colac. Although he agrees to go, he changes his mind at the last minute and decides to stay and finish his schooling

Connor kidnaps Maddy to show Lori how desperate he is to have his daughter close by. In the end, she realises that he’s right and dumps her controlling boyfriend, Nick

Charlie returns to town to spend one last Christmas with Lyn. He dies on Boxing Day, with only Steph for company. As she adjusts his pillows, Lyn walks in with Charlie’s son, Michael, who assumes that Steph has smothered Charlie

Karl and Izzy prepare to get married, but a vengeful Gus turns up and scares Izzy to the point where she runs out on the wedding. In the end, she returns and they don’t marry, but agree to give the relationship another try

In the midst of the wedding reception, both the pub and the Coffee Shop are set alight. The pub collapses with both Sindi and Stuart inside, Max is injured when the Coffee Shop explodes and, as the crowd surveys the disaster, Paul Robinson appears to join them

 

Five Years Ago - November and December 2000

The debutante ball saw the beginning of a dangerous new relationship, while several residents had mysterious secrets…

• Allana and Lance finally become a couple, but it seems that she has a mysterious secret, with things only made worse when her sister Clementine befriends Toadie

Tad’s bone marrow donor process begins and he goes into hospital for a successful operation

Following the debutante ball, Flick and Joel finally share a kiss and, despite Joel’s concerns about her father, Flick is determined to develop things into a full-blown relationship

Susan’s nephew, Dr Darcy Tyler, arrives and Dee quickly falls for him, before realising that he’s already in a long-term relationship

Joe is trapped in a bushfire with a pregnant woman, Tina, who then goes into labour. He delivers the baby and she asks him to be godfather to baby Joseph

Paul gives up on his football career as he struggles to fit in at football camp, but then considers giving it a second try

Steph receives a letter from her ex-boyfriend, Woody and it later becomes clear that he’s in prison, but her family know nothing about this

Joe’s brother, Mick, comes to stay after a fight with his wife, Di, and the loss of his job. It soon emerges that he’s depressed, but Joe manages to help him get back with Di and move on

 


Ten Years Ago - November and December 1995

The past haunted several residents, as a secret relationship was finally exposed…

 

• Brett and Susan visit Kenya, where they are both changed by the experience. Brett decides that he has to break away from his mother’s influence, whilst Susan admits that she helped her mother to die

Luke returns, having split up with Ren and living on the old bus. Karl quickly realises that Luke is depressed, while Cody finally exposes Adrian Ewart's mind games and he transfers to another university

Mark is offered a role on a cookery show, but it means moving to Sydney and leaving his friends in Erinsborough behind

Teacher Andrew Watson, realises that Billy has dyslexia

Libby struggles to cope when Sonny comes on too strong with her and she runs away in tears

Lou’s ex-wife, Linda, arrives and announces that she’s been left some money by an aunt, but she only gets it if she remarries Lou

Stonie and Annalise’s affair is finally exposed when Angie and Sam stumble in on them enjoying an afternoon in bed together
