One Year Ago - September 2006

A shock death turned the Robinson and Hoyland families lives upside-down, while Ramsay Street’s bad girl said goodbye…

 

• Cameron makes Paul promise to stop his bad behaviour if he pulls through, but when Cam dies, Paul vows to make Max pay, threatening him with a gun before realising the error of his ways. Elle pretends to forgive Max but proceeds to make his life hell

Max believes that he’s losing his mind following the accident, but in actual fact Elle is playing tricks on him, changing bar orders and even stealing Charlie to make him feel mentally unstable. In the end, with everyone beginning to doubt him, Max hires a private detective to prove his belief that a Robinson is out to get him

After learning that she’s pregnant with Karl’s child, Izzy turns her life around and starts being nice to everyone before announcing plans to leave Erinsborough for good. With most of the locals believing that she’s terminally ill, only Paul knows the truth and covers for her when Susan accidentally takes a call for Izzy from the hospital

Anne reveals that she’s the real Bree Timmins, the child who was swapped with her at the hospital. However, when Anne tries to tell her parents that she’s been in touch with the Timmins family, they whisk her away from Melbourne, rather than face up to the truth


Whilst looking at some girly mags in the roof of the Kennedy-Kinski house, Zeke is shocked to discover his own sister, Katya, is one of the centrefolds. She opens up to her siblings and admits that she did some shocking things to fund a drug habit in her past

Carmella admits to having sold her cousin’s baby a year earlier, to help Connor pay for Maddy’s ear operation. She then takes time out from the convent and tracks her cousin, Teresa, down to the hospital, where Teresa demands that Carmella find the baby and get it back

Boyd is shocked to realise that his new lecturer, Dr Herbert, is stealing drugs from the hospital and injecting herself, but when she realises that she’s been rumbled, she frames him for the crime

 

Five Years Ago - September 2002

A sudden and shocking death rocks Ramsay Street, while another resident makes a surprise return and a third is told she's being transferred...

• Drew and Libby agree to an offer from Ron Kirk to join him in Oakey and help run his stud farm. However, a shocking twist of fate results in a riding accident and Drew dying on the operation table. After a moving funeral, Libby and Ben return to Erinsborough in shock

• Flick's sudden return from America shook things up for Stuart and Steph. A truce was finally called between the two sisters, Flick scored a job at Lassiter's hotel and Stuart and Flick realised they had feelings for each other

• Rosie is informed by the Bishop that she is being transferred to Byron Bay, which upsets her, as well as Boyd and forces Harold to admit his true feelings for her. This creates a rift between old mates Lou and Harold and Lou moves out of number 24

• Toadie and Dee's relationship moves up a gear and they decide to share a room. She also has to suddenly go to Tasmania for her gran's surprise party and is forced to stay there when Nan Bliss gets sick

• Max finds it difficult to adjust to life with Boyd and Summer, unaware that he is alienating Summer from his activities with Boyd

• Connor helps Nina record a song and Nina realises she's falling for him, something which Tahnee finds out and delights in blackmailing her friend over, while Connor starts reading lessons with Libby

• Susan and Karl grow closer and he asks her to accompany him to the annual medical ball, Susan also moves in with Libby to support her after Drew's death and also decides to return to University

 


Ten Years Ago - September 1997

Some new faces brought about some complicated relationships in Ramsay Street...

 

• Exchange student Claire Girard arrives to stay with Madge and Harold and manages to charm everyone except Madge. Although she immediately develops a crush on Billy, she ends up befriending Hannah and trying to help her win over pool lifeguard Jack Foster

With his relationship with Libby looking like it will never be revived, Darren makes plans to leave Erinsborough for a fresh start in Byron Bay. At the last minute, Libby realises that she can’t be without him and chases his bus, stopping him just in time

Sarah thinks she’s found the man of her dreams in the form of policeman Matt Compton who moves into number 30’s spare room. But she decides to keep the relationship a secret from Ben, whose ex-girlfriend Angela she refused to let move in on the basis that she didn’t want to share the house with a couple

Ben's younger adoptive sister Caitlin arrives and immediately joins the local squad and sets her sights on fellow swimmer Billy, little realising that he’s already dating Ben’s biological sister, Anne, and not particularly caring when she does find out

War breaks out as Madge and Harold take over the Coffee Shop lease while Debbie runs her own food cart outside

With Ruth away, Toadie talks Anne and Lance into throwing a party at their house, only for disaster to strike when Mitch puts his foot through the wall

Twenty Years Ago - September 1987

Love was in the air for many of the neighbours...

• A mystery woman is spotted at the church during Jamie’s Christening and later arrives at the Clarke house. Daphne is stunned to realise that it’s her estranged mother, Tina Bentley, with the pair having had no contact in ten years

At the hospital, Lucy is recovering from the operation to remove her brain tumour and befriends another patient, the comical Rick, who manages to cheer her up whilst she’s spending so much time away from her family

Henry gets taken in by a darts scam at the pub when Kenny Larkin pretends to have hurt his arm and gets his sister, BB, to take his place, with Henry unaware that she’s an excellent player. He’s then caught up in another drama when Kenny scams change from $50 out of barmaid Madge and Henry looks like losing his job as he’s suspected of being in on the ruse

At the garage, Charlene finds out that an apprenticeship with Rob isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, as he’s constantly late and leaves her working on big jobs that she can’t handle alone

Harold finds himself the object of several senior Ramsay Street ladies’ affections, with Eileen even pretending to be a vegetarian to win him over. Madge mistakenly thinks she’s seen Harold and Eileen kissing and accepts a date with Rob, but that only makes her realise how much she prefers Harold

Having split up from his wife, Bev’s married man Stephen Armstrong arrives in town and asks her to move back to Adelaide with him. Following a fight between the two men over her affections, she chooses to stay in Erinsborough with Jim

Paul and Gail struggle to keep their marriage on a strictly business level and he struggles to hide his jealousy when an old airline friend, Glen Matheson, comes back into her life
