Recap
• Fox warns Paul if he goes to the hospital he’ll be operated on and die
• Oliver admits to Elle he loves Carmella but is starting to fall in love with her too
• Ringo decides he has to find a new angle or risk face losing Rachel
• Paul struggles in pain to get to his car but the agony overcomes him and he falls to the ground unconscious
Paul's Apartment - Car park: Paul awakens to find himself lying on the ground. Still in pain he grabs his phone but struggles to use it and calls out to a woman passer-by, Jackie Ross, asking her to help. Paul gives her the phone to ring the hospital but becomes frightened as he realises he has blood coming out of his left ear.
Lassiter's Hotel Reception: Elle is having to cover reception after 3 of the Lassiter's staff have food poisoning following a night out and Oliver offers to help out. Elle can’t cope with being near him and pretending nothing happened between them and asks if he’s told Carmella yet – if he doesn’t then she will. Oliver agrees he’ll do it and apologises to Elle how things have turned out. Elle asks him to leave.

No 28 - Lounge: Ringo arrives with his over night things as he and Rachel take the opportunity to be together with Susan & Karl away to see Karl’s father. Rachel thinks they are in store to have a romantic time together but is stunned when Ringo wants a day of watching chick flicks The Princess Bride, An Officer & A Gentleman and Steel Magnolias. Rachel looks very puzzled.
No 30 - Lounge: Carmella arrives home to find Zeke cleaning up the house as a $10 bribe to leave Rachel and Ringo alone. After explaining he has broken up with Bree, Zeke asks for help with knowing when girls like him from Carmella – Excited Carmella explains in her publication All Her magazine she has an article on this called triangular gazing. Carmella explains that if a girl looks at each eye and the mouth she is interested – Zeke takes this on board and leaves. Oliver arrives and clearly wants to discuss what is on his mind but Carmella is not picking up on his body language, as she is just happy to spend time together and offers to make lunch.
Lassiter's Hotel Reception: Elle is still covering reception when Zeke arrives to ask for a job to earn some money to impress a girl. He explains it’s not Bree but someone else that he knows is his soul mate like Carmella and Oliver. With a sudden attack of guilt, Elle decides she needs to stop Oliver’s confession and does duty manager, David, cover the front desk. As she leaves, Elle agrees to give Zeke a job.
Erinsborough Hospital - Private room: Dr Vinton explains to Paul in his hospital bed that he has to have surgery to remove the tumour or it will kill him. But as he’s waited for surgery, it has increased his chances of brain damage.
No 30 - Back garden: Carmella has cooked Oliver bacon, scrambled eggs, toast with fresh orange juice but he asks her to sit as he has something to say. Oliver admits he loves her and is ready to reveal more when Elle arrives and interrupts. She takes Oliver with her, out of earshot from Carmella.

No 30 - Hallway/lounge: Elle explains she doesn’t want Oliver to confess to Carmella about the kiss as it could ruin his relationship with Carmella over her, someone who is as bad as Paul Robinson. In the lounge Ringo overhears the conversation as Oliver & Elle agree not to tell Carmella.
Ringo seems unhappy at the deception.
No 28 - Lounge: Zeke arrives home much to Rachel’s disgust it could ruin her plans for romance. Zeke insists he needs to get a pen from his bedroom. Lolly arrives to see Zeke and Rachel begs her to take him off elsewhere so she can enjoy her day, despite Ringo’s apparent chick flick marathon. Lolly agrees to help out and Zeke returns sucking on his pen. Unbeknown to him it has leaked over his lips and thinks Lolly is using the triangular gazing technique on him. Zeke asks Lolly to go swimming with him and Rachel ushers them out of the house as Ringo returns. Rachel wants to have some kissing time but Ringo explains he needs to talk after what he’s just overheard.
No 30 - Lounge: Lolly and Zeke return from No.22 after Zeke felt uncomfortable to spend time with her around Lou and besides he wants to spend time with her. Carmella arrives home and Lolly makes a hasty exit. Excited, Zeke explains how Lolly kept using the triangular gazing technique but is embarrassed to learn all Lolly was looking at was the biro ink on his mouth. Carmella assures him he needs to forget about triangular gazing and follow his heart. Oliver overhears her as she explains that’s how she and Oliver came together. After Zeke leaves, Oliver and Carmella kiss.
No 28 - Lounge: Ringo seems determined to tell Carmella despite Rachel’s argument that Elle mentioned nothing had happened between her and Oliver in the conversation. Rachel warns him he’s meddling if she talks to Carmella and to realise it is the same situation where he and Lolly had nothing happening.
Rachel brings up that she likes the idea of him just being a guy and not pretending to be something he’s not. Relieved, Ringo kisses her and they both agree the sensitive boyfriend in moderation.
Erinsborough Hospital - Private room: Fox arrives to see Paul and seems unusually calm about being locked in the apartment by him. Paul explains he needs to have the surgery to survive but Fox reveals he overheard doctor’s discuss that if Paul does go into surgery he’ll come out of it in a vegetative state. Petrified, Paul says he has no other choice but surgery. Fox offers to take him home to look after him instead.

The General Store: Zeke laughs off the biro mess with Lolly that he did it on purpose before changing the subject to tell her he’s got a job at Lassiters. Lolly reveals she voted for him in the best body part competition to raise his average score but Zeke sees this as her having an attraction towards him and asks her to the movies. Lolly agrees as Ringo and Rachel arrive. Ringo congratulates Zeke and tells Rachel it’s a date – Rachel explains Lolly doesn’t see him in that way and wants to warn her brother. Ringo is adamant if she does, she’ll get the blame when it all goes wrong.
Paul's apartment: Back home, Paul rests and asks Fox for his phone to call Elle. Fox plays that he doesn’t need Elle just him but Paul is clear it is time Elle knew his condition and it is time Fox move on to other things.
Lassiter's Hotel Reception: Oliver arrives back with Carmella and finds Elle covering the front desk. Deeply uncomfortable with things, Elle suggests Oliver should find another Barnes owned hotel to work at – Oliver is shocked and tells he she’s effectively sacking him. Carmella thinks it’s a great way of him spending more time with her. Elle excuses herself so she can visit Paul to repair their relationship.
No 30 - Lounge: Carmella questions if Elle has a crush on Oliver still after Elle’s revelation a few weeks ago to her. Oliver seems shocked at the news but Carmella questions why she is sensing something isn’t right between them – Carmella asks Oliver to tell her what is really going on.

Paul's apartment - Porchway: Paul suddenly awakens to see Fox looking over him and repeats he needs to call Elle. Fox replies he’s called her and she doesn’t want to see him. Paul cannot believe it and gets up to get his phone to call her himself but Fox stops him and the start wrestling with each other. Paul then hears a knock on the door and Elle call out to him. Fox continues to hold back from opening the door and Paul calls out to Elle. Outside Elle hears her father’s raised voice and opens the door to see Paul fighting with himself, begging her to get the imaginary assailant off of him. Elle watches her father confused and concerned by his behaviour.
